My design specification was just simple.
Design specification said that
• It will be easy to do
• It must be cheap, affordable for everyone
• It has to be useful for the user
• Good looking
• It has to be safe for everyone, especially for children, animals
• Eco friendly
• Must be useful, plus, everyone must want it
• So perfect that not everyone can improve it
• Everyone must like it
I think the whole idea was good, because no one actually created something against flood, maybe there are some, but not for gers and im happy with my creation.
My design specification said that it can be affordable for everyone, but I think this is not possible because you will need a lot of metal and a lot of diggings to do, and the tubes are really expensive, especially if your ger is not close to the river, then, it will cost you more. And there is no way I can change the price because these things like metal cannot be replaced.
I said that it will be easy to do, but it was wrong, I change my plans and me designs a lot of time, the 1st design was really easy to do, but the last one even better but, it costs a lot. About the eco friendly part, even if we are using metal, there is no better way to make it more eco friendlier.
From the test, I made some conclusions like the tubes are too small and the tube around the ger is very small, so next time, when I do it, I would probably think about making it bigger and wider. Plus, some people complained about the flood going into the river. Well, river is of course natural and flood is natural too, and the fence on the tube saves river from getting polluted from trash coming inside. So everything is natural, which means it is ok to do it.
In the investigation, I was just sitting there thinking about the 1st design which was the cheapest and easiest, but then I thought what should I do with the water inside the hole? And I came up with another idea, which was hard and expensive, but really simple. I just plan everything, and then made the designs; maybe I could even better ideas if I planned it.
In the Plan, I had to, of course plan everything, but I forgot all about how I am going to do it in a such a short time because I had lost of homework’s to do, so my plan turned out to be not accurate and hard to follow, and the changes were just great, it made everything much more complicated and in the other hand easy to do. So if I had to do everything again, I would definitely look at my other plans and make a perfect one.
The actual creation was a little bit easier than I expected and it does not look good, because I needed more equipments and it took a lot of time, even if I followed my plan, it was really hard, and I made some changes in the creation too, and I think instead of building a model, drawing would be a little bit more easier and better, so for improving it, I would choose drawing and make it a little bit 3d-look-like which is easier for other people to see.
And, yet, my creation would be a good one if people could actually use it, since there is a lot of rain and flood, and since there are no other ways to save your belongings.

After finishing checking, i started doing it
Since i did not plan how to do everything else, i got another big piece of paper, which was curly on one side and then drew on it (like planning what is where, and then i started sticking everything in the place
instead of just drawing and making, i decided to use plasticine to make the river and the tube

the gers roof looks really weird, because it is supposed to be round, but it was hard to cut it so i decided to use a bigger cup and then had to cut it and stick the ends together and then stick the roof to the "walls"
If you had it do it over again what would you do?

1st design
My 1st design was just the reflection what i had in my mind first. I didn't do anything special to it i just copied it from my mind without changing so that my other 2 designs would be even more better

But my 1st design had the half of these things. It is hard to do, because in most of my design you need cement, and doing something with cement is really hard, and digging holes...
And when its hard to do it, then obviously its not going to be cheap, its impossible for all my designs to be cheap.
For the user, it is very useful, i think. Because lots of people suffer from flood. And if somebody uses my idea, at least 60% of getting into a flood “attack” is prevented.
All my designs are good looking, especially my 2nd design. It is very simple.
The safety problem is the big problem. My 1st 2 designs are safe, but my 3rd one is not.
To prevent flood, i think almost everyone might want to have it because life is more important than money. So i think people will buy my product if it was possible.
I think my 2nd design is almost perfect. And somebody might want to change my 1st and 3rd idea, because it might use some more improvement.
1st 2 is OK, everyone might want it, but not my last one, because it is hard to use.
1st design) my 1st design is kind of OK, but the most wrong part is where you have to dig so many holes. And things like cement and metals for protection is really hard to build with. And the water which goes from the hole to the big hole cant go anywhere. And if you have a huge flood than the water might go over the big hole and it is the big problem. If the hole is cement than its not going to collapse. But after the flood the water cant be used, and no where to go, unless it disappears.
2nd design) my 2nd design is the best. It is kind of similar to the 1st one, but the great part is that there is no big hole. The water, using the tube, is going to the nearest river or at least a dead river sot hat it wont go into other gers. And the ger is a lot higher than the usual ground. And the hole is going to be 10 cm lower than the ger. The other great thing about is that the tube is going to be connected to the closest river and if more people are going to use it, and if they live close to each other, they connect their tubes and the make a 1 big hole going to the river. I don't worry about the river because the flood water is OK, its natural, so it wont pollute the river, and the small holes around the ger protects from garbage's. So the water coming from the ger district is going to be a lot cleaner than a normal flood water.
My 3rd design is the worst one. I thought that it would be good, but then i realized that it is not safe. It is a little bit higher than the ger, and its going to be hard for the people living there, and for children, and it is not really that good looking. But the good thing about it is that unlike the 1st one, the water is going inside the hole like around 70 percent, without going to another place, it wont change its direction.
My chosen design is the 2nd one, and its the best! Because its almost perfect. It is simple, and i wont hurt other peoples gers, and its kind of easy to do, and it can be used for almost 100 years, because you use cement and metals.
